libhivex-bin software package provides utilities for reading and writing Windows Registry hives, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libhivex-bin
libhivex-bin is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libhivex-bin package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libhivex-bin *
You will get with libhivex-bin package name, version, architecture and description in a table
